Why we love Spring Lake:
Sure, life on Spring Lake means cozying up to a beautiful body of water and truly feeling the comforts of making your home in a small community — but it also means being just minutes from all the conveniences of nearby Grand Haven, Muskegon, and Holland.
Surrounded on three sides by Spring Lake and the Grand River, the Village of Spring Lake is a quiet, family-friendly community dotted with quaint shops and eateries. Along the peninsula of this 1,251-acre lake, you’ll find many public access points to the water, including a municipal boat launch and canoe and kayak launches. You’ll also enjoy a sandy beach with restrooms and multiple fishing platforms where you can easily drop a line in.
Best of all, the addition of the Grand River Greenway (coming soon!) will add even more convenient launch pads for you to drop in your canoe or kayak, while enhancing the Spring Lake experience with more fishing opportunities and wildlife viewing stations tucked into the wetlands and along the Grand River.
On Spring Lake, you’ll find a variety of lake homes, ranging from original single-family homes built by the Village’s founders to new lake homes, condominiums, and townhouse developments.
Many Spring Lake residents enjoy membership at the Spring Lake Country Club — a true, year-round club that offers countless amenities, whether at the peak of summer golf season or the thick of winter. A championship golf course, tennis courts, multiple dining venues, and an aquatic center with 2 pools are just a few of the amenities enjoyed by SLCC members.
